Traditional Arts: From Heart to Hand

“From Heart to Hand” is a program of the Northern Tier Cultural Alliance that presents  shows and exhibits of Folk and Traditional Artists in our region.  In past years, we have mounted full-scale art shows in galleries across the region.  (Stop back in the future on this page – we will be adding lists and work samples from prior shows….)

Due to funding cuts, we have scaled back the shows and are now featuring one artist at a time in a smaller exhibit in our PA North Country Artisan Center and Store.  Stop in regularly to see these exhibits.

Recent and upcoming artists featured are:

• Feb./March 2012 – June Smith Williams – Pottery and fine arts
• Dec. 2011-Jan. 2012 – Dixie Lee Wurster – Wheat weaving, straw and dried flower arts
• Oct. – Dec. 2011 – Patty Dillman – Willow baskets
