NTCA maintains a close relationship with various groups and organizations locally, regionally,
and statewide that provide funding opportunities for folk and traditional artists and groups.
Below is a listing of just some of the upcoming grant opportunites for artists and groups in

March 1: PCA Artists in Education Directory
For artists wishing to participate in the PCA's
Arts in Education programs. Artists located in:
March 1: PA Partners in the Arts Program Stream
Provides ongoing support to arts organizations and arts programs. Organizations must be invited to
apply. For organizations in:
April 1: Humanities-and-the-Arts Project Grants
Explore the arts through discussion groups, workshops, or lectures accompanying performances.

June 30: PA Partners in the Arts Project Stream
Provides grants of up to $3,000 to eligible organizations or
individuals to conduct arts projects. For organizations or individuals in:
August 1: Fellowships in Performing and Craft Traditions - PDF Application
Designed to honor and recognize excellent practitioners of traditional arts. They are
awarded to individuals for their outstanding contributions to the practice and conservation
of their art form within their community. For artists in:
- Bradford, Cameron, Clinton, Lycoming, McKean, Potter, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, or

August 1: Apprenticeships in the Traditional Arts - PDF Application
Support a master traditional artist and an apprentice practicing traditional arts found in
communities across the Commonwealth. To be eligible, the apprentice must be a resident of
Pennsylvania and have demonstrated competency in the basic skills in the specific
tradition of the apprenticeship. For artists in:
- Bradford, Cameron, Clinton, Lycoming, McKean, Potter, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, or
