2008: Year of the Barn Competition Now Open to Additional Art Forms

In conjunction with the Northern Tier Cultural Alliance and “2008: the Year of the Barn”, the Potter County Fine Arts Council is sponsoring an Art Competition. “2008: the Year of the Barn” is a yearlong project designed to celebrate our regional agricultural heritage by calling attention to the architecture, history and cultural life made visible in barns all around us. Originally set up as a Photography Competition, the event has now been opened to drawings, paintings, photographs, and other 2-D forms of artwork. Updated Competition Guidelines are available here. Deadline to submit an entry is September 5, 2008.
