Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts 2007-2008 Grants Awarded
The Northern Tier Cultural Alliance (NTCA), working with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts (PCA)
was pleased to present the annual regional PA Partners in the Arts (PPA) Awards Ceremony on Thursday,
October 11, 2007 at the Muncy Historical Society, Muncy.
Representative Garth Everett and Legislative Assistant to Senator Roger A. Madigan, Curtis Fay,
assisted NTCA Executive Director Jennifer L. Swain in presenting the 2007-2008 PA Partners in the Arts
Grant Awards to applicants from across Cameron, Clinton, Lycoming, Northumberland, and Potter
Counties.
The Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts program is a regranting program of the PCA which allows regional
partners and the state to work to together to make a significant impact on arts and cultural
opportunities at a local level. This year, NTCA received $51,544 in requests from Cameron, Clinton,
Lycoming, Northumberland and Potter Counties with $29,900 available to re-grant. Applications were
reviewed and scored by a panel of community members from across the five counties served.
Artists and organizations receiving 2007-2008 support include:

PA Partners in the Arts is the regional arts funding partnership of the Pennsylvania Council on the
Arts, a state agency. State government funding comes through an annual appropriation by Pennsylvania’s
General Assembly and from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. The mission of the
Pennsylvania Council on the Arts is to foster the excellence, diversity, and vitality of the arts in
Pennsylvania and to broaden the availability and appreciation of those arts throughout the state.
