PA Partners in the Arts
In partnership with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, NTCA facilitates the PA Partners in the Arts (PPA) Program and
Project Streams for Potter, Clinton, Cameron, Lycoming, and Northumberland
Counties. This funding opportunity provides grants of up to $3,000, to eligible
organizations or individuals to conduct arts projects.
Program Stream:
Applications must be submitted via eGrant (http://pca.egrant.org)
by Monday, March 3, 2008. Hard copies of the PPA Program Stream Application and PACDP materials
should be mailed to the NTCA office in Towanda.

Project Stream:
NTCA offers PPA workshops for Project Stream throughout
the counties during May and June. The workshops last about an hour and
will cover the grant cycle, eligibility, restrictions and overall grant writing
suggestions. Past applicants will receive a copy of the application in the mail. New
individuals or organizations to the program can contact NTCA at 570-265-7455. Applications
must be submitted via eGrant by June 30, 2008 and hard copies with signatures should be mailed to the NTCA office in
Towanda.
The Project Stream Guidelines are available here in PDF format:
Applicants should complete their applications online using the eGrant system
(http://pca.egrant.org). The eGrant system will be open
for applications by mid-May. We suggest registering for a user id and password now. Applicants who can not submit using eGrant should contact NTCA as soon
as possible.
New Eligibility Requirement
There are two new categories for eligibility this year:
- Arts Projects NOT Conducted with or in venues owned and/or operated by organizations
or programs the PCA already supports through the PPA Program Stream, Arts Organizations & Arts
Programs (AOAP) Track, or the Entry Track.
- Arts Projects conducted with or in venues owned and/or operated by organizations or programs
the PCA already supports through the PPA Program Stream, Arts Organizations & Arts Programs
(AOAP) Track, or the Entry Track. Previously these types of projects were ineligible for
support. There are a limited amount of funds available for these types of projects.

Program Stream, AOAP, or Entry Track is available
here. Use this list as a
reference in determining whether your project is conducted with or in a PCA-supported arts
organization or program.

There are several changes to the 2008-2009 Guidelines. It is strongly
recommended that applicants attend a workshop.
