PA Partners in the Arts

In partnership with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, NTCA facilitates the PA Partners in the Arts (PPA) Program and Project Streams for Potter, Clinton, Cameron, Lycoming, and Northumberland Counties. This funding opportunity provides grants of up to $3,000, to eligible organizations or individuals to conduct arts projects.

Program Stream:
Applications must be submitted via eGrant (http://pca.egrant.org) by Monday, March 3, 2008. Hard copies of the PPA Program Stream Application and PACDP materials should be mailed to the NTCA office in Towanda.

PDF versions of the applications are available here:

Project Stream:
NTCA offers PPA workshops for Project Stream throughout the counties during May and June. The workshops last about an hour and will cover the grant cycle, eligibility, restrictions and overall grant writing suggestions. Past applicants will receive a copy of the application in the mail. New individuals or organizations to the program can contact NTCA at 570-265-7455. Applications must be submitted via eGrant by June 30, 2008 and hard copies with signatures should be mailed to the NTCA office in Towanda.

The Project Stream Guidelines are available here in PDF format:

Applicants should complete their applications online using the eGrant system (http://pca.egrant.org). The eGrant system will be open for applications by mid-May. We suggest registering for a user id and password now. Applicants who can not submit using eGrant should contact NTCA as soon as possible.

New Eligibility Requirement
There are two new categories for eligibility this year:

  • Arts Projects NOT Conducted with or in venues owned and/or operated by organizations or programs the PCA already supports through the PPA Program Stream, Arts Organizations & Arts Programs (AOAP) Track, or the Entry Track.

Previously these types of projects were ineligible for support. There are a limited amount of funds available for these types of projects.

A list of the arts organizations and programs that the PCA already supports through PPA Program Stream, AOAP, or Entry Track is available here. Use this list as a reference in determining whether your project is conducted with or in a PCA-supported arts organization or program.
